Abstract: | We find it necessary to include this article in the data bank. It is an international consensus statement on what is known about the causal relation between acute events during labor and cerebral palsy. The statement has been produced by an international task force representing a wide range range of sciences, clinical specialties and professional associations. We are at a time when a realistic estimate may be that only 10% of cases of cerebral palsy stem from advert events during childbirth. |
