Title:Low birth weight and renal disease in Australian Aborigines

Abstract:The authors investigated whether low birth weight predisposes to renal disease in one community in which renal failure incidence has reached 2700 per milion and is doubling every 4 years. Among adults a high urinary albumine creatine ratio was associated with low birth weight.
