Abstract:This is a follow-up of 3265 8-9 year old children born to women who participated in a randomised controlled trial of ultrasound during pregnancy. No statistically significant differences in body weight or height at 1, 4 or 7 years of age between screened and not screened children, or between exposed and un-exposed children were found. There was no association between ultrasound exposure in early life and impaired vision or hearing in childhood.
