Abstract:The authors identified the offspring of 25 women who had had measles during pregnancy and found no association between exposure to measles and Crohn's disease. None of the 22 individuals still alive (median age 51) was registered as having Crohn's disease and none of those who died as adults had been reported as having symptoms of inflammatory bowel disease.
