Title:Child outcome following mid-trimester amniocentesis: development, behaviour, and physical status at age 4 years

Abstract:The authors followed 88 children up to age 4 and compared them with 46 controls. No differences were found for a wide range of developmental and behavioural variables, although there was a trend towards a higher rate of bilateral-lateral middle-ear impedance abnormalities in cases.
