Abstract:The authors examined 33 IVF children at the age of 3 years. Only singletons born healthy and at term were studied. They were compared with a control group. The families were interviewed and the children were assessed with a test for infant psychomotor performance. The development of all children was satisfactory and the relationship with their mothers was excellent.

Discussion:For obvious reasons we need to wait several years to have the results of studies assessing such children after puberty. See also entry 0040 and 0118.
