Abstract:This letter comments on the study by Ekbom (entry 0068). The authors present their study on the relation of breast development to birth weight and length in new born babies. They suggest a direct correlation between birth weight, length and mammary gland development. Differences in mammary gland development could effect he number of cells that could act as possible targets for carcinogens.
