Abstract:Dummy use in infancy, number of older siblings, maternal age at birth of the participants and father's occupational class remain independent predictors of adult IQ. In multivariate analysis no association was found between adult intelligence and method of infant feeding. 994 men and women born between 1920 and 1930 in Hertfordshire were followed up.
